					Collected locally for food and shellcraft on the Indochinese peninsula (Ref. 349). Intertidal to immediate subtidal on rocky shores (Ref. 801).  Members of the family Turbinidae are herbivorous, consuming small epibenthic algae and vegetable detritus (Ref. 349).

					Members of the order Patellogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners.  Life cycle:  Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
