Collected with other nerites by coastal populations. Used as food and for shellcraft (Ref. 349). Found in inner bays and on gravel (Ref. 75835). Also found on the lateral and undersurfaces of boulders in shelted shores (Ref. 128873).

Members of the order Neritopsina are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
