Shell can be white, yellowish orange, orange, or rose colored, at times with irregular longitudinal reddish brown flecks. Girld is white with scattered greenish or translucent scales, sometimes arranged to form irregular bands. Valves carinate. Anterior valve with slightly concave slope, and is covered with 17-19 radiating rows of erect pustules.
Depth based on occurrence; to be replaced with a better reference. In substrate composed of mud, rubble, and shell hash (Ref. 128661).
