Bell height and width measures 25 mm; large stomach with 4 recurved lips suspended by a broad gelatinous peduncle; dark brown gonads on the manubrium with regular transverse folds, 2 large opposite light brown to tan tentacles and 80 rudimentary marginal tentacles (Ref. 2376).
Neritic (Ref. 116114). Active swimmer, feeds primarily on other hydromedusae, favorably Clytia gregaria (Ref. 2376).
