Environment:  pelagic; marine; depth range 1 - 2 m
Distribution:  Atlantic, Pacific and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Live specimens cast up on the beaches in large numbers, many having attached their rafts of eggs (Ref. 88739). Pelagic (Ref. 109264).
