Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 17 - 250 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Eastern Africa to Japan and Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 107627. Commonly associated with alcyonarians and sometimes with bryozoans and sponges. Reported from Hong Kong to be present in a marine cave (Ref. 79729).
