The maximum size refers to disc diameter. The arm length is measured at 18 cm (Ref. 128807). Occurs beneath coral slabs and in holes and crevices; also in branching corals (Ref. 800). They are also found at the reef edge, with a sandy, rubble, and dead coral substrates (Ref. 87041), also in silty, seagrass, sandy rocky, algal mats, hydroids, Thalassia beds and coral reefs (Ref. 128807). Feeding as juveniles may be facilitated through parasitic feeding (Ref. 102357). |
