Family:  Ocypodidae (fiddler and ghost crabs)
Max. size: 
Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine; depth range 0 - 1 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Belize.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Supratidal to intertidal (Ref. 97531), and also in terrestrial supra-tidal bash (Ref. 127928). Feeds on ground nesting birds and sea turtle hatchlings (Ref. 86356), mole crabs and coquina clams (Ref. 111610). Facultative scavenger (Ref. 111610) and exhibits diurnal deposit feeding (Ref. 111607).
