Max. size:  14 cm TL (male/unsexed); 17.5 cm TL (female)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 20 - 60 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from the Philippines to Australia and New Guinea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Depth range and common depth based on occurrence, to be replaced with a better reference. Juveniles are found inshore in a shallow bay in seagrass meadows (Ref. 106912). On mud, feeding on crustaceans, polychaetes and detritus (Ref. 114821).
