Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean. Climate: Subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Generally found in medium or coarse sediment mixed with detritus, or in fine shell gravel of the sublittoral zone (Ref. 2243). Occurs at the mid tide mark.
