Prefers being hidden under subtidal sand and rocks and among corals with just its arms exposed (Ref. 102838). It also dwells in mixed rock and sand tidal flats (Ref. 130839). Found on coral reef, subtidal rock and is epizoic on sponges (Ref. 107862). Ophiuroids may be carnivores, scavengers, deposit feeders or suspension feeders (Ref. 833). |
