Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 10 - 20 m
Distribution:  Southwest Atlantic: Brazil. Mediterranean: Italy and France.
Diagnosis:  Small and delicate, sparingly branched colonies; complementary nematocysts; macrobasic euryteles; male blastostyles not reduced, bearing a few two-chambered sporosacs (Ref. 3086).
Biology:  Occurs at depths of 10 to 20 m on algae, hydroids and bryozoans (Ref. 3093).
