Distribution:  Atlantic, Caribbean and Pacific Oceans.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 116013. Found in the outer continental shelf (Ref. 116013). Colonial (Ref. 19). Found in patch reefs and mangrove islands on mangrove roots and substrates composed of dead corals and gorgonians. In Belize, it is found at depths of 4-6 m. As with other hydroids, this species exhibits a pelagic medusoid stage.
