Distribution:  Northern Pacific. From east coast of Korea, Japan and Kamchatka peninsula to Aleutian Islands and Cook Inlet, Gulf of Alaska. Temperate to boreal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 104115. Adults live on the sand seafloor (Ref. 106884). Inhabits silty bottoms (Ref. 113219). Exhibits cannibalism (Ref. 101157).
