Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Depth range based on occurrence in Hawaii (Ref. 99582); to be replaced with a better reference. Minimum depth assumed from its ecology (Ref. 99740). Occasionally found in tidepools wherein hermit crabs frequently inhabit its empty shell (Ref. 99740). Members of the order Neogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
