Distribution:  Indo-Pacific. Subtropical to temperate.
Diagnosis:  Living corallites are deep pink or white, having transparent tentacles.
Biology:  Minimum depth range from Ref. 119629. Ahermatypic. Attached to rocky substrates, from immediate subtidal to depths >30 m (Ref. 119628). Uncommon on overhangs and in reef crevices at depths between 6 to 106 m (Ref. 88997). In Hong Kong, found in a marine cave (Ref. 120542).
