Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 0 - 22 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Probably endemic to Chile.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is found on rocky substrates, often in crevices, also on gorgonians from intertidal areas to a depth of 22 m. It prefers shaded habitats and it rarely falls dry. When strongly disturbed it expels acontia through its mouth opening (Ref. 87801). Solitary (Ref. 2377).
