Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found under rocks (Ref. 128631). Members of the family Asterinidae are very opportunistic feeders, feeding indiscriminately on small epifaunal organisms, detritus, decaying animals and plants, and live algae (Ref. 108108).
