Distribution:  Northwest Pacific, Atlantic Ocean, and Mediterranean Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in the shallow subtidal, at depths 0 to 2 m. Associated with macrofauna (Ref. 116127). Also found intertidal and in mangrove areas, on sandy to muddy substrates (Ref. 126008).
