Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Kenya to Thailand, Philippines and Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 107346. Prefers shallow muddy, estuarine habitats (Ref. 69553). Found underneath rocks (Ref. 107345). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
