Distribution:  Western Atlantic. Subtropical and tropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Neustonic, epibiotic (Ref. 116013). Colonial (Ref. 19). Known from mangroves (Ref. 86642), tidal inlets and surface or near surface water layers, including porpitids and the halopelagic Sargassum sp. fauna (Ref. 86643).
