Distribution:  Southeast Pacific and the Antarctic. Subtropical to polar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 116836. It is found on sandy beaches, with blocks and stone, and soft bottom sublittoral areas, between kelp and mussels to a depth of 300 m (Ref. 87801).
