Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Gulf of California. Tropical to temperate climates.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Epibenthic, encrusting. Attached to algae and hydroids (Ref. 116066). In cool temperate, warm temperate and tropical waters (Ref. 674). Members of the phylum Bryozoa are hermaphroditic. Both fertilization and egg brooding may either be internal or external (Ref. 833).
