Max. size:  1.06 cm CW (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 366 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic Ocean. Temperate to tropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Carapace width range: 0.61 to 1.06 cm (Ref. 93549). Benthopelagic. Found on molluscan and other shells (Ref. 97531). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
