Remarks It is epifaunal on eelgrass beds (Ref. 95819). Also inhabits the brown alga Ascophyllym nodosum. Mesoherbivore. Adults graze on the meristematic apices of A. nodosum while small individuals graze on the same alga and its macroepiphytes, preferring the latter (Ref. 104685).
