Remarks Occurs at depths from 10 to 55 m (Ref. 800). Cryptic, rarely seen on reef flats and lagoon, very rare on seaward reef (Ref. 102252). Found on a reef slope (Ref. 100368). Juveniles graze on organic materials and adults feed on small, sessile invertebrates (Ref. 800). Associated with coral communities (Ref. 129602).
