Remarks Intertidal to subtidal (Ref. 106854). Occurs in freshwater, estuarine and marine habitats. Typically found on shallow water close to the shore, on mud or detritus (Ref. 102937). Also on sandy-floored mangrove pools (Ref. 102935). Feeds largely on detritus and small crustaceans like amphipods and ostracods (Ref. 102937).
