Remarks Gelatinous zooplankton (GZ) were obtained from planktonsamples collected using Bongo nets (mesh size 500 μm, mouth opening 0.3 m^2) towed at about 10 m depth horizontally for 10 min, while the vessel speed was aimed at 3 knots. Sampling dates are estimated. In Iceland, Aurelia aurita is a commonly found species, although its abundance differed throughout the course of the study.
