Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 3 - 3714 m
Distribution:  Southern Pacific, Southwest Atlantic and the Antarctic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in rocky infralittoral areas (Ref. 87683) and in forests of Macrocystis pyrifera (Ref. 92889).
