Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Reef dwelling and also found in mangrove ponds (Ref. 1757), specifically on mangrove roots (Ref. 121478). Occurs on the reef, often in rock crevices in shallow water, where it is fully exposed to bright illumination (Ref. 1758).
